This is Toby's big green chair. He loves chillin' on the armrest and looking out the window. Toby will let me know when anyone approaches: UPS, random neighbor walking down the street, Mr Gayle checking his mail, or even if he spies a squirrel! - you get the idea. He gets excited when Matt pulls into the driveway and he runs to the door. Today, Abigail joined in waiting moments and excitement with Toby. It was so cute to watch them get excited when Daddy drove up then they ran to the door to greet him. It happened so fast I couldn't even get video!

Abigail and I headed out early for a fun filled day of shopping! We "robbed" Target, which is the term Matt uses when I go shopping using a bunch of coupons. Not only do I shop for us, but with extra coupons I collect items for Must Ministries.
For $8.26 I purchased 2 packs of Huggies diapers, 14 dental floss, 6 Benadryl anti-itch pens and 2 Glade anti-odor sprays. I only kept the diapers and one Benadryl. I've also been checking out Target grocery clearance for great deals (which can also be combined with coupons) for donation items.
Abigail and I also made it to Party City to exchange a bubble machine; I managed to purchase a broken machine last week. Annoying. Then we made our way over to Bed, Bath and Beyond for a couple gifts and a Shark for me! Once we arrived home, Abigail had fun in the sprinkler and chasing after bubbles.
Before we knew it, it was time for dinner!
Abigail insisted on feeding herself pastina. Her independence continues to grows everyday. While she ate, I sharked the kitchen, emptied the dishwasher and organized some pictures that arrived in the mail. As I walked in and out of the kitchen I noticed her eyelids starting to get heavier and heavier. I rushed to get Matt's attention (he was throwing more mulch outside) and the camera!
I offered to watch my friend Julie's girls while she went out of town for a girls weekend with her cousins. She was in a bind since her hubby was out of town for work conference. Sarah and Selena are 7yrs old and Addison is two weeks younger than Abigail.
Julie put Addison to bed before she left, which took some difficulty out of it for me! Sarah, Selena, Abigail and I made homemade chocolate ice cream. This was probably not the smartest idea at 9pm at night - giving them chocolate and sugar! When it was time to put Abigail to bed, I settled Sarah & Selena in the guest room with a couple movies.
In the morning Abigail and Addison woke within minutes of each other. I made biscuits and cinnamon rolls and we watched Anastasia. Another friend dropped by for lunch with happy meals.
Overall the night & day went well, with only a few minor "issues". (We learned crayon can be cleaned off tile and dishwasher with 409 and it'll take more than 7yr old twins to completely break our DVD player.)
Each month Target sponsors free tickets to Imagine It! Children's Museum the second Tuesday of each month from 1-7pm. We had never been but I had been interested in taking Abigail, not wanting to actually pay for admission since I wasn't sure if she'd enjoy it or how long we'd be there. Matt was able to meet us after a meeting, it was nice having daddy around for an outing. Abigail, on the other hand, was a bit cranky since she fought naps all day and it took her a while to have some fun. We'll have to go back another time and maybe take a friend or two!
We drove down to LaGrange for Gavin's Baby Dedication. Matt took video with Val's camera while Donnie and Val's other sister-in-law took pictures, so none are in our possession to share with you now. This was the only picture Matt took and it was in preparation of Donnie's Father's Day gift.
We hurried back to Smyrna for Evie's 2nd Birthday party!
